Job Description:
- Prepare and attend weekly & monthly sales meetings or any other meetings if needed.
- Conduct monthly account reviews & new accounts.
- Prepare sales month-end reports.
- Prepare monthly production reports.
- Plan and update weekly sales activities.
- Report weekly sales calls.
- Assist with the compilation of business plans and regular action plans.
- Complete needed paperwork/form/gift… for sales trips (if required).
- Complies, in conjunction with the Head of the Department, in the compilation of budgets and targets covering assigned sales activities.
- Executes the approved annual sales plans.
- Regularly maintains revenue forecasts in close cooperation with the Revenue Team.
- Develops and recommends pricing strategies that reflect the greatest possible market share over the long run.
- Plan for sales trips based on business priorities and ensure execution effectiveness.
- Frequently monitors and evaluates local, national, and international market trends and the competitor hotels’ sales initiatives, ensuring that the Hotels’ marketing and sales remain competitive and cutting edge.
- Properly manages all key sales accounts and groups.
- Propose suitable strategies for pricing, inventory, and sales resource allocation.
Requirement:
- Fluent English, a second language will be an advantage
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Hotel Management, Tourism related education
- Minimum 3-5-year experience in a similar position in international hotels or companies with same category
- Knowledge about the hospitality industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work well with a diverse team
- Experience in a sales role with a proven track record to close a sale
- Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
- Proficiency in Microsoft office Pack
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and tasks will be an advantage
- Pre-Opening experience is an advantage
