Job Description:
- Develops data and recommends programs to meet clients’ needs.
- Prepares proposals and contracts that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs.
- Uses outside sales calls, prospecting, hotels tours and hosting of clients to solicit new business.
- Contacts in-use customers to retain and grow existing business, repeat bookings or referrals to other hotels in the Group.
- Reviews individual and team goals on a weekly basis; recommends and takes appropriate actions to achieve objectives in key result areas.
- Report to DOS / ADOS any complaints, comments or suggestions received from guests or the general public that may improve hotel services and products.
- Conduct market surveys and gather marketing intelligence on competitors to pass on to DOS/ADOS so that he/she is kept well informed of market developments.
- Participate in trade shows and sales promotions assigned by DOS/ADOS.
- Travel to source markets to solicit business and establish and/or develop relationships with key customers and accounts.
- Maintain positive relationships with commercial accounts, and other sources of business for the Group.
- Attend meetings as required / directed by the Director and/or Assistant Director of Sales.
- Prepares reports as necessary to improve management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirement:
- Graduate in Hospitality, Business Management or relevant major
- Minimum 3 years hotel sales experience
- Good computer skills
- Sense of confidence to achieve results in the negotiation process
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English communication
- Be able to travel for business
