Job Description

• Create and implement short and long-term sales strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets
• Actively seek new business via marketing campaigns, tele-sales, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods
• Hire, train, and motivate team-members to enhance continuously better customer service
• Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relations with existing clients
• Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand
• Prepare accurate and complete sales reports
• Consult with Board of Directors and Management Team-members to evaluate the company’s performance
• Oversee the flow of revenue in all departments of the hotel, including food and drink sales, room rentals, and meeting space rentals.
• Work with front-end hotel team-members to ensure positive guest experiences
• Plans and directs sales force activities in order to maximize profits
• Directs team-members in order to meet sales goals, including maximizing potential sales volume

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and further years experience in sales management role
• Profound knowledge of sales strategies and best practices for a sales department
• Proficiency in computer skills and software
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent English
• Leadership, interpersonal skills.
