Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of human resource strategies aligned with the overall objectives of the Group.

• Assist with the development and implementation of human resource strategies for the department.

• Monitor status regularly and adjust strategies as appropriate.

• Assist with the development and implementation of training plans aligned with the hotel’s strategies.

• Create a work environment aligned with the Group’s and the hotel brand’s culture by conducting management skills training on a regular basis.

• Maximize personal and professional productivity.

• Ensure that employees attend all legally required training as scheduled; maintain and review the tracking system regularly.

• Fill positions with qualified candidates on a timely basis.

• Build and maintain relationships with potential labor sources.

• Work with managers to identify position requirements.

• Recruit candidates who demonstrate a strong fit with the Group and hotel brand culture.

• Encourage employees to explore new roles within the hotel through personal and professional development.

• Support the administration of human resources and benefits matters while ensuring compliance with employment-related laws.

• Keep current with applicable human resources laws including discrimination, health and safety, privacy, and related regulations.

• Maintain all employment records in accordance with legal requirements.

• Provide Payroll and Benefits with the required information for accurate and timely processing of employee data.

• Work with Management to coordinate the company’s response to legal claims related to employment relationships.

• Maintain the manning and salary budget.

• Develop and implement strategies and practices that support employee engagement.

• Coach managers on effective ways to motivate employees and maximize employee engagement.

• Counsel managers and employees on communicating and reinforcing performance expectations and addressing employment-related issues.

• Encourage recognition of employees’ contributions by coordinating hotel-wide recognition programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR management roles, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations, with experience in HR policies, recruitment, and performance management
  • Familiarity with HR systems, payroll processes, and employee records management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and properties
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
