Job Description:
- Develop, synthesize, adjust, and categorize operational costs based on activity models, local characteristics, and the specifics of the hospitality and resort industry.
- Control operational costs to ensure accuracy, sufficiency, reasonableness, and compliance with industry standards and the monthly budget for each property throughout the year. Ensure cost control for core business areas across the system: Accommodation (Room Costing), Food & Beverage (Cost of F&B), and Other Services (Cost of Other).
- Supervise and implement procedures to compare and evaluate direct purchase costs contributing to revenue at the properties, including source, pricing, payment methods, after-sales services, and warranties.
- Monitor, record, evaluate, and propose reductions in other business expenses, such as energy costs, labor costs, and costs of tools and equipment.
- Oversee and conduct evaluations of inventory management, usage, and loss of tools and assets at properties on a regular basis. Establish consumption benchmarks for materials, inventory, tool lifespans, labor, and energy.
- Report losses and identify violations. Propose solutions and periodically adjust management and control methods.
- Collaborate with other positions in the Finance and Accounting Department of the Group and its properties to address management requirements, including scheduled or ad hoc inspections.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality or resort industry.
- Fluent in English and proficient in using specialized software.
- Experience working in a hotel management group with a chain system is an advantage.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- Honest, responsible, and capable of maintaining confidentiality. Detail-oriented, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
