RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices by issuing, controlling, and collecting invoices in accordance with established procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for banking transactions.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Record accounting transactions into the accounting software (sales, expenses, capitalized costs, fixed asset depreciation, intangible asset amortization, liabilities, and other transactions).
  • Perform accounting tasks as well as periodically conduct physical inspections and inventory counts of fixed assets, tools, equipment, and consumable supplies.
  • Prepare periodic reports, statistical analyses, and accounting data as required.
  • Provide weekly management reports and accounting figures to the Chief Accountant and the Board of Management.
  • Control hard-copy documents and maintain online data filing systems.
  • Participate in the preparation of reports and explanations for periodic inspections/audits of company operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements in organizational efficiency.
  • Propose new software systems or processes to improve accounting procedures.
  • Recommend changes to internal regulations and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant and Financial Controller.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, including at least 2 years in a General Accountant position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
