GENERAL MANAGER (BASE HOI AN)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, implement, and monitor cluster-level business strategies to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behaviors to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Optimize revenue and profitability through effective cost management, performance tracking, and operational efficiency across all properties.
• Oversee daily operations across all cluster properties, ensuring adherence to brand standards and corporate policies.
• Provide direction and guidance to Property General Managers (GMs) in managing operations, resolving issues, and achieving key performance indicators.
• Ensure effective coordination between cluster functional teams and between properties and the Head Office.
• Approve and control operating budgets, capital plans, and expenditures within the cluster.
• Monitor, evaluate, and analyze financial reports, and propose solutions to improve profitability and operational performance.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of property-level leadership teams.
• Foster a positive culture of collaboration, innovation, and engagement across all properties within the cluster.
• Encourage, motivate, and develop teams to drive decisive actions toward shared organizational goals.
• Ensure all properties comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements.
• Proactively anticipate and manage potential risks, crises, or operational incidents.
• Represent the cluster in dealings with government authorities and strategic partners.
• Prepare and deliver periodic and ad-hoc reports to the Board of Directors on cluster performance.
• Collaborate closely with Group functional departments to implement projects, policies, and common operational standards.
• Coordinate with other Departments, Divisions, and Properties across the Group to maximize task implementation and deliver high-quality products and services to the market.
• Encourage, motivate, and develop the respective teams to build trust and promote a spirit of decisive action toward achieving the Company’s goals.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by Line Manager or BOD.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within hotels or resorts
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, with solid financial, revenue, and business management skills
- Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities, with the capability to lead teams effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong commitment to guest experience and service excellence, with the ability to maintain high customer satisfaction and handle guest feedback professionally
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Experience with hotel management systems and reporting tools is preferred
