Job Description:

• Ensure that the department’s activities align with the Company’s development goals.
• Keep up with the latest industry trends and advances to ensure Company maintains a competitive edge.
• Develop and deliver ideas on new products/business orientations to meet Company business new objectives.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, advancements, and competitor products.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, other departments to ensure the successful launch and quality of new projects.
• Monitor and manage the R&D budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on the department’s activities and projects to Board of Directors regularly and per request.
• Ensure that all R&D activities are in compliance with regulations and requirements.
• Recruit, train, and mentor R&D team-members.
• Assess and manage the risks and benefits of new product/project development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry
• Understanding of customer segments, partners, and businesses in the industry; awareness of business trends in Vietnam and globally
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of a second foreign language is an advantage
• Willingness to travel frequently
